About

The objective of WAVES is to encourage and promote the understanding, study and practice of the art of Audio-Visual Sequences

Over the years we have had a varied programme of activities including presentations by members, accomplished visiting presenters in sound, vision, script-writing, Photoshop, Pictures to EXE and demonstrations of new technologies. The Theme days are popular with an amazing variety of themes from a single topic which can range from the serious to the sublime.

WAVES was formed in 1996 by a small group of Audio-Visual enthusiasts based in the West Country. Whether you are new to the art of audio-visual sequences or looking to extend your skills, you will find plenty to interest and stimulate you at one of our relaxed meetings. We are a small but active and friendly group who normally meet face to face four times a year in Chapmanslade, usually on the second Saturday of February, May, August and November. We also have online presentations from external speakers on a regular basis. If you take a look at our Programme page this will give you more detailed information of our meetings. We also produce a regular Newsletter, copies of which can be viewed on the News page.
